The Lounge & Cafe

The Whisker Society was created out of the love for cats. The idea of sipping coffee in a library-inspired lounge, surrounded by our feline friends felt like something our community would love as much as us. By hosting adoptable cats from our partner organizations, we can offer a comfortable and peaceful place for the cats to thrive while looking for their next loving family.
Bookings are required to visit our cat lounge and can be made at the link below. Our cafe (opening soon!) will be open during our posted business hours and you can stop in any time for a beverage or snack, no reservation needed.
We are grateful for the support of our community, and invite you into the lounge to meet the cats and enjoy our space. We look forward to seeing you there!

We partner with local adoption organizations to host adoptable cats in our comfortable, enriching lounge. This creates more room and opportunity for other cats in need, while offering cats in our lounge a peaceful place to thrive.
The Cat Who Inspired It All
Title
The Whisker Society was born from the love of many cats. Pounce was one of them. Pounce lived at Watertown Humane Society for 3 years. He was hard to adopt because he had chronic nasal congestion.
The shelter staff & volunteers deemed him the nicest cat. Eventually he was adopted by the Martin Family, who sought specialty care for his treatment. He was deeply loved by his family for 8 years.

The Whisker Society is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization. We partner with local adoption organizations to host adoptable cats in our lounge, giving them a peaceful place to thrive.
